Recording Irrigation

For logging irrigation, the best place to start is in your Inputs as you need to bring water into the farm as something that can be applied with a cost associated

Select Other inputs in the Input tab

Add an input using the green plus and name it Irrigation

In the description set the reference as Water 

Set the conversion as follows

Create a purchase invoice for whatever amount of water you like this will associate a cost to the water

Select the fields that will need irrigating and create a new activity

If there isn’t an irrigation activity type, you will need to create one using the add and the reference activity ‘Irrigation’

Then in the inputs select the other input we just created and put the rate in mm

This will then create a fully costed irrigation activity
